Popcorn Sales - 2026 Campaign Kickoff!
🚀 2026 POPCORN KICKOFF!
A note from Da Kernel:
It's almost Popcorn Time, Pack 107! Our 2026 Trail's End Popcorn Sale kicks off soon. This year's Three Fires Council theme is "Shoot for the Moon" -- tied to America's 250th anniversary -- and this fundraiser is what powers Scouting adventures all year long: camp fees, Pinewood Derby cars, advancement patches, and more, all while keeping our dues low. We encourage every Scout to set a personal goal of $1,000 and download the Trail's End App to track in-person, online, and social media sales all in one place!
Last year Pack 107 raised $104,182 and finished:
#1 in our District
#1 in our Council
#19 Nationally
Let's aim even higher in 2026!
Mark your calendars!
Storefront shift sign-up opens: August 14
First storefront date: August 28
Sale wraps up: November 4
Our Pack's 2026 sales goal is $80,000 -- let's blow past it together!

Where to Find Us -- 2026 Storefronts (more may be added): Squire Ale House, Rookies, Alexander's Cafe, Alice's Place, Jewel-Osco, Texas Roadhouse, Blain's Farm & Fleet, and Obscurity.
📲 Getting Started: App, Storefronts & Payments
Account Setup
New Families: Download the Trail's End app, tap Register, enter your Scout's name/email/phone, create a username and password, then enter Pack 107's Unit Code: AYDPQ (or search ZIP 60119 + Unit 107 as a fallback).
Returning Families: Just log back into the app with last year's credentials (use "Forgot Username" if needed, or email cubmaster@elburnpack107.org for help). Note: Trail's End retired the separate web Scout portal for 2026 -- everyone logs in through the app now.
Storefront Shift Sign-Up
Shift claiming opened August 14. In the app: Storefronts -> Sign Up for Shifts -> pick a date -> pick the Pack 107 business/shift time -> Sign Up for Shift. Can't drop a shift within 24 hours of its start time -- email cubmaster@elburnpack107.org for swaps.
Payment Setup -- Do This BEFORE Your Shift!
Set this up at home, not at the table! Two options:
Tap-to-Pay: In the app, go to Settings -> Square Settings, allow Bluetooth/Location/Microphone permissions, and confirm status shows "Ready." No extra hardware needed.
Square Reader (from your kit): In the app, go to your profile -> Hardware -> Square -> Pair a Reader, then hold the reader's button until it flashes orange.
We recommend testing your payment setup at home before your shift.
Storefront Kit
Pack 107 sends a kit to each shift: table, banner, tip jar, cashbox with starting cash, a Square reader, and product (sometimes a pop-up canopy too, if warranted). At the end of the shift(s), the entire kit plus all cash gets returned to the Kernel, unless other arrangements were made in advance.
🚫 IMPORTANT: Do NOT Convert Cash to Credit Yourself
Please do NOT use the Trail's End app's self-serve Cash to Credit feature at your storefront, even though it's available in the app. Converting on your own locks in that shift's inventory, which makes it hard for the Kernel to catch and reconcile inventory issues afterward.
Don't worry -- you'll still get full credit for your Cash to Credit bonus points! The Kernel verifies inventory and handles all conversions centrally after each shift.
Just record your sales exactly as paid -- cash sales as Cash, card sales as Card -- and let the Kernel take it from there.
Popcorn Party
We are throwing an awesome party to celebrate everyone's work! Every year, Pack 107 rents out an entire movie theater for a private showing, just for our qualified selling Scouts and their families.
This year's theater, movie, and date are still being planned -- watch for an update once it's locked in! (Last year we rented the EMax Theater at Emagine in Batavia for a private showing of Zootopia 2.)
In past years, this exclusive party has been open to qualified selling Scouts based on requirements like:
For New Sellers - Create your Trail's End Popcorn Account AND sell any amount of popcorn.
For Legacy Sellers - Work 2 Storefront Shifts OR sell $300 in Wagon Sales.
We'll confirm this year's exact requirements once the party is finalized. You'll get a private email with your secret link to RSVP if you qualify!
Pie-a-Leader Challenge
Get those pie hands ready! All pieing will be done at an upcoming Pack Meeting!
Every Weekly Top Seller gets to "pie" a Den or Pack Leader!
In past years, Cumulative Goal Honors (new sellers hitting $1,000+, legacy sellers hitting $2,000+) also earned the honor of pieing a leader -- we'll confirm this year's thresholds soon!
🍿 WHY WE POP: FUELING ADVENTURES
Why do we do this? Simple: a big share of every sale comes DIRECTLY back to our Pack! That money fuels your entire Scouting experience, covering:
Half of Your Camp Fees (Day Camp & Resident Camp)
Half of Your Outing Fees
The Blue and Gold Banquet and Pinewood Derby Cars
All of your Advancement Patches and Belt Loops
Fun events like the Popcorn Party, Welcome Back Party, and Bike Rodeo
And a big part of the reason we can keep your Scout Dues so low!
Additionally, 35% went to our Council to fund low-cost activities like Spring & Fall Camporees, Shooting Sports Night, the Cubmobile Race, and critical leader training.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! You are the best Pack in the Council!
